Café Con Leche

In Venezuela, a cup of coffee is worth half of the minimum wage because of hyperinflation. To monitor the situation, the Bloomberg agency created a very unorthodox financial index: the Café Con Leche Index. As the name suggests, it tracks the price of a single item: a cup of coffee served in a bakery in Eastern Caracas. The short film "Café Con Leche" tells this absurd story through the chronicle of the daily life in a Venezuelan bakery.
